On November 15th, join members of QA+M’s North Stonington School Modernizaton Team at the 2019 CABE CAPSS Conference in Groton, CT at the Mystic Marriot. QA+M's Principal + Director of Education Design Rusty Malik will present with members of the client team to tell the North Stonington Schools story, a small school district that underwent a BIG transformation with a very limited budget.
Rusty will be joined by Peter Nero, Superintendent of North Stonington Public Schools, Mike Urgo, North Stonington First Selectman, and Dr. Pamela Potemri, Building Committee Chair, to present a case study on how North Stonington Public Schools, a small district with a declining enrollment, made significant renovations and successfully created 21st-century learning spaces with a very limited budget.

Identify challenges that small school districts face in renovation projects
Learn strategies on getting local funding approval and maximizing state reimbursement
Understand how to create 21st-Century learning spaces on a shoe-string budget
